Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Harivansh Rai Shrivastava Bachchan (born 11 October 1942) is an Indian film actor. Bachchan was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, in north central India.His father Harivansh Rai Srivastava (Bachchan) was a well-known Hindi poet and his mother Teji Bachchan was a Punjabi Sikh from Lyallpur (now Faisalabad),Punjab. Bachchan was initially named Inquilaab, inspired by the phrase Inquilab Zindabad popularly used during the Indian independence struggle. However, at the suggestion of fellow poet Sumitranandan Pant, Harivansh Rai changed the boy's name to Amitabh, which means "the light that will never die .A tall and thin young man who known for his voice entered the city of dreams had to face rejections because of these two qualities of his . Film maker rejected him for being 6 feet 3 inches and had no confidence in him . He auditioned for a voice test at All India radio but was rejected . 
Success did get him, he was steadily climbing the ladder. However , life is never easy , in 1982 Amitabh had a near death experiences, the doctors and his family had lost hopes after he met an accident on the sets of the movies 'Coolie' . He survived and recovered to become the a superstar for the coming years .He first gained popularity in the early 1970s for movies like Zanjeer and Deewaar, and was dubbed India's first "angry young man" for his on-screen roles in Bollywood. Referred to as the "Shahenshah of Bollywood", "Star of the Millennium" or "Big B".The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his contributions to the arts.[16] The Government of France honoured him with its highest civilian honour, Knight of the Legion of Honour.

Shivaji Rao Gaekwad (born 12 December 1950), known by his mononymous stage name Rajinikanth, is an Indian film actor, who works primarily in Tamil cinemaHis mother was a housewife, and his father Ramoji Rao Gaekwad, a police constable, He was named Shivaji Rao Gaekwad after Chhatrapati Shivaji, a Maratha warrior King, and was brought up speaking Marathi at homeand Kannada outside. He is the youngest of four siblings in a family consisting of two elder brothers and a sister . When he was nine years old, he lost his mother.As a child, he was studious and "mischievous" with a great interest in cricket, football and basketball.
Upon completion of his school education, Rajinikanth continued to perform various jobs in the cities of Bangalore and Madras, including that of a coolie and carpenter, and finally ended up being recruited in the Bangalore Transport Service (BTS) as a bus conductor.He began acting in plays while working in the Bangalore Transport Service as a bus conductor. Shah Rukh khan

Shah Rukh Khan (born Shahrukh Khan; 2 November 1965 in a Muslim family in New Delhi), also known as SRK, is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality.Khan grew up in the Rajendra Nagar neighbourhood of Delhi. His father had several business ventures including a restaurant, and the family lived a middle-class life in rented apartments.

Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia (born 9 September 1967), better known by his stage name Akshay Kumar, is an Indian-born actor who works in Bollywood films. Kumar is also a producer and martial artist who has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films. Kumar hasCanadian citizenship .He received his school education from Don Bosco School and enrolled in Mumbai's Guru Nanak Khalsa College for higher education, but dropped out after a year and went to Bangkok to learn martial arts. When Kumar was a teenager, his father asked him what he aspired to be. Kumar expressed his desire to become an actor.After having obtained a black belt in Taekwondo while in India, he studied martial arts in Bangkok, Thailand, where he learned Muay Thai and worked as a chef and waiter.Upon his return to Mumbai, he commenced the teaching of martial arts. One of his students, an aspiring photographer, recommended Kumar into modelling which ultimately led to a modelling assignment. Kumar effectively made more money within the first two days of shooting, in comparison to his entire months salary, and therefore chose a modelling career path. He worked as an assistant for photographer Jayesh Sheth for 18 months without payment to shoot his first portfolio. He also worked as a background dancer in various films.One morning, he missed his flight for an ad-shoot in Bangalore. Disappointed with himself, he visited a film studio along with his portfolio. That evening, Kumar was signed for a lead role by producer Pramod Chakravarthy for the movie Deedar.

Nawazuddin Siddhiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui (born 19 May 1974) is an Indian film actor who works in Hindi cinema.
Siddiqui was born on 19 May 1974 in Budhana, a small town and tehsil in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, India, into azamindari Muslim family of Numberdars. He is the eldest of his eight siblings.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Following this, he worked as a chemist in Vadodara for a year, before leaving for Delhi in search for a new job. Once in Delhi, he was instantly drawn into acting after watching a play. In pursuit to secure admission at National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi, he acted in over ten plays with a group of friends, to fulfill one of the criteria for admission .
Siddiqui went to the National School of Drama, New Delhi.After graduating from NSD, he moved to Mumbai. In 2004, which was one of the worst years of his struggle, he couldn’t pay any rent. He asked an NSD senior if he could stay with him. The senior allowed him to share his apartment in Goregaon if he was willing to cook meals for him .Siddiqui made his Bollywood debut in 1999, with a small role in Aamir Khan starrer, Sarfarosh. After that, he played a messenger in the movie Jungle, later he hung out at film studios and shootings but only got stereotypical roles. He shared screen along with Sunil Dutt and Sanjay Dutt in Munnabhai MBBS in the opening scenes where he tries to pick the pocket of Sunil Dutt .
 After a period of less significant performances in his early career, he received the Special Jury Award at the 2012 National Film Awards.and Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2013.

Lata Mangeshkar


Lata Mangeshkar was born in a Marathi-speaking Gomantak Maratha family, in the princely state of Indore, part of the Central India Agency (now part of Madhya Pradesh).Her father, Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar, was a classical singer and theater actor. Lata is the eldest child of her parents.Mangeshkar took her first lessons from her father. At the age of five, she started to work as an actress in her father's musical plays she left school because they would not allow her to bring Asha with her, as she would often bring her younger sister with her.In 1942, when Mangeshkar was 13, her father died of heart disease.

Kishore Kumar

Kishore Kumar (4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian film playback singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer, director, and screenwriter .Kishore Kumar was born in a Bengali family .Kishore was the youngest of four siblings . While Kishore was still a child, his brother Ashok became a Bollywood actor.
After Ashok Kumar became a star of Hindi films, the Ganguly family visited Mumbai regularly. Abhas Kumar changed his name to 'Kishore Kumar' and started his cinema career as a chorus singer at Bombay Talkies, where his brother worked.Kumar's first film appearance was in Shikari (1946), in which his brother, Ashok played the lead role.Although he got some acting assignments with the help of his brother, he was more interested in becoming a singer.Kishore Kumar produced and directed some movies in the late 1970s and early 1980s, such as Badhti Ka Naam Dadhi (1978), Zindagi (1981) and Door Wadiyon Mein Kahin(1980)—his last appearance as an actor.

Shreya Ghoshal

Shreya Ghoshal (born 12 March 1984) is an Indian playback singer. Her father, Bishwajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and works for the Nuclear Power Corporation of India, and her mother, Sarmistha Ghoshal, is a literature post-graduate. She has a younger brother, Soumyadeep Ghoshal. At the age of four, she started learning music. Shreya Ghoshal completed her schooling up to eighth grade. In 1995, she won the All India Light Vocal Music Competition,New Delhi, organised by Sangam Kala Group, in Light Vocal group in sub-junior level.
Her first ever recorded song was "Ganraj Rangi Nachato" which is a cover version of a marathi song originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar .Her first studio album was Bendhechhi Beena .Ghoshal caught the attention of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she participated in the 75th children's special episode of Sa Re Ga Ma.According to Bhansali, Ghoshal's voice had the innocence needed for the character of Paro in Devdas (2002).She was an immediate success and was called by various regional film industries for recording songs in her voice.
She has received four National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards including five for Best Female Playback Singer, nine Filmfare Awards South for Best Female Playback Singer ,three Kerala State Film Awards ,one Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.She has recorded songs for film music and albums in various Indian languages and has established herself as a leading playback singer of Indian cinema .

Muhammad Atif Aslam (born 12 March 1983) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and actor. He began his education in kindergarten at Kimberley Hall School, Lahore.
Aslam played cricket and got interested in music. Even though Aslam always admired Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Abida Parveen,his first love was for cricket and he dreamt of representing his nation as a cricketer.He was a fast bowler and his passion for the sport saw him being selected for the national Under 19 cricket team trials. At one stage Aslam was training to represent his country in the U-19 World Cup.Spurred on by his friends, he began to sing in public during his days at PICS, where he met guitarist and talented young composer, Goher Mumtaz.
